Or the very few that seen this blog, as it is now a public holiday…
… for us in the UK and a number of other countries at least:
Happy Christmas
and I hope you all got what you wanted this year. For me, the question asked is “what would you like for Christmas?”, the answer is interesting, money buys a lot of things, material objects, services and power. For me? Well, apart from my ultimate goal of a £1bn railway that will never happen (it seriously won’t, but it won’t be for me to use and enjoy, it would be for the public), the one thing I would like is the one thing money can’t buy.
You may ask what?
Love and affection from a lady, not a one off either, but for a life time.
The one thing I would love to do is wake up next to someone that we can both love each other for a life time, do things together like travel, see the world, work towards something and this I wanted 20 years ago. Unfortunately, you can’t put a price on it as its priceless.
Don’t forget, Christmas doesn’t have to cost a lot, we get so wrapped up (pun not intended) of giving each other gifts, that we overlook what is important to us and don’t forget, I may have things you don’t have that you may look at in jealousy (stable job, parents, sisters and my own source of income, single life), but if you look on the flipside, look at what I am also missing, like a girlfriend or wife, loads of friends and kids. The fact I don’t drink, doesn’t help.
In regards to the opposite sex, I do have my interests and those I’d like to date. If I am honest, I wish I could keep it to one person but every time I do that (put all my eggs into one basket), it goes very wrong, so I end up looking at potential people or as mentioned in a previous blog, get the body language wrong and end up in trouble.
Tip for Christmas for me anyway, that would make me happy. If you are a single lady, just ask me out. Better, keep it until after Christmas.
